Actor Jo debut!

The big news this week is the announcement (finally!) of Jo's secret schedule. He'll be taking on the lead role of Kotani Kaboku (nicknamed Cabo) in the live action movie adaptation of the Wandance anime and manga. Cabo is a boy who hates that he stands out because of his stutter, but one day discovers a friend dancing and is swept up into that world and becomes captivated by it. It's a perfect role for Jo, who looks fantastic in the trailer. The movie is set to be released on November 27th.

While not a full MV, we also got a TikTok of Nicholas covering Jay Chou's Sunny Day. The song, sung in Mandarin Chinese, is beautiful, and includes him playing the guitar as well.

Blaze the Way tour

The tour continues, as tours tend to do, with &Team in Fukuoka last weekend, and Taipei, Taiwan this weekend. Nicholas looked delighted to be back on stage in his home country and the encores seem to be getting more and more chaotic. The next stops are in Kobe, where your admin will be seeing them in person, and then off to Incheon, South Korea.

Fashion and advertisements

In the space of about three days, we had promotional photos from Fuma and Jo for Shu Uemura, Harua for Prada, and Maki for Tommy Hilfiger. We also had Nicholas and EJ promoting Acqua di Parma a week or so before. Admin is still waiting on one of them to sign with Calvin Klein...

Upcoming appearances

  • Fuma will feature in anan magazine's "Appealing bodies 2026", which is available from 24 June. Previous photoshoots from this series seem to indicate a lot of bare flesh...

  • EJ, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo and Harua will be appearing on the two-hour special of TBS's "Please Let Snow Man Do That", taking part in a dance battle.

  • The team will be appearing on Nippon TV's The Music Day 2026 on 4 July, where they'll be performing at Pokepark Kanto. (Note: as they're also on stage in Korea for the tour that same day, it's likely that this performance is pre-recorded)
